NASA XML Working Group
The charter of the NASA XML Working Group is to advance the
productive use of XML technology within NASA. The scope of the
Working Group includes all aspects (mission, engineering, and
administrative applications) of XML within NASA . The Working
Group's functional scope includes planning/policy, standards,
security, and outreach activities related to XML. All NASA Centers
and many programs and projects participate in the NASA XML Working
Group in order to provide technical recommendations to the Office of
the CIO, share lessons learned, and otherwise assist in making XML
and related technologies more useful technologies within the Agency.
The NASA CIO appoints the chairs of the NASA XML Working Group.
Each NASA Directorate and NASA Headquarters may, at their option, provide one representative to the NASA XML Working Group. In addition, recognized XML Communities Of Interest (e.g., the Integrated Financial Management Program, the NASA Centers and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory) within the Agency may designate a representative to participate as members of the Working Group.
Other interested persons may join the Working Group, and its associated mailing list, on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the
